500 ml bottle. Pours a clear yellow/gold with light head of big bubbles. Aromas of malt and light toffee. Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 25, 2011
bottle from Wine of Dreams Warszawa. The brewery in Kwówek Śląski is the oldest in Poland. Clear, orange-golden colour, large and creamy white head. Aroma of malt and shy hints of fruit and buttermilk. The aroma reminds me of a Czech 14° lager. Full-bodied, solid malty background, grainy and biscuity, quite clean. The malty base is well complemented by grassy-herbal hops, especially in the finish. Bitter-sweet character, very smooth and velvety carboation. You can feel that this beer has had enough time to lager. Close to Czech 14° lagers - this one is really carefully and well crafted, a delight for a lager-lover who likes beers with their own character. August 2017 - Bottle share at Chriso's Pre-GBBF Shindiggery. Thanks everyone! As 'Lwowek Ratuszowy', 6.2%. Pale golden orange, still and clear, foamy off-white head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is sweetcorn, papery, airy. Body is light with tingly to soft carbonation. Taste is papery and thin, crackers, a little sweetcorn, more paper in the finish. Not for me. Bottle. Pours hazy light amber. with airy white head. Clear aroma of hop and grain with a note of citrus. Bitter, sourish taste. Hop and grain. Bready aftertaste. Nothing very special. Schroppfy (2362) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JAN 17, 2011
Great head retention. Nice aroma, a little corny (sweet/sour) but also hay, grass, sourdough bread. Flavor bready, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness, hay, relatively dry and drinkable. Not a big alcohol feel when cold or warm, less so than other similar strength and type of beers here - this is a positive. Easy to drink. jinroh (2276) - ESTONIA - AUG 6, 2017
Bottle shared at Chriso’s and Ruth pre GBBF shindig, August 5, 2017. Pours light amber. Not much foam. Nose is usual stuffy malt lager thing. Tastes sort of malty, sweetish and messy. Unbalanced and pretty bad.
W smaku kwaskowe i metaliczne, raczej nieprzyjemne. Gdzieś pałętają się słodowe posmaki. Wysycenie średnie...
