Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Gold with a white head. Attractive sweet aroma with a hint of pineapple, a welcome change from the expected lemony citricity. Pleasant sweet taste with a sour edge. Some bitterness. Thought this was pretty good.

Bottled (from Beers Of Europe). Slightly hazy orange colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is wood, mild bitter floral and grassy notes as well as some slight maltyness. Flavour is rather similar with crisp maltyness and quite rich carbonation. Nice bitter and earthy finish.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear amber with a thin white head. The aroma is weak floral hop leading to a medium bitter flavour with lots of hoppy citrus notes on the smooth refreshing palate. Perfect for a session.

Bottle. Pale amber beer with a strongish head. The aroma is lightly hopped and toffee, and the flavour is fairly deeply toffee and bitter with a long finish. Overall a competent bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
