Cask at the John Logie Baird (JDW), Hastings. Amber with a loose cream head; vaguely fruity aroma; sweet fruity flavour - orange perhaps, and malty; the finish is caramel with some dull hops. Not at its best. sm89walt (2073) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - NOV 6, 2011
Cask - The Bell Hotel (JDW), Norwich. Small, creamy & lasting off-white head, light uniform lacework, clear golden amber body. Nutty, caramel sweet & slightly sulphurous on the nose. Bit of yeast & bread with a dominant almond tone on the tongue. Light to medium body, soft palate, dryish, low bitter finish. Bullit (4672) - Burgos, SPAIN - SEP 10, 2011

Cask, Slug & Lettuce, Leicester. Amber with an off-white foam. Aromas are woody, earthy and spicy with base caramel and toffee malts. Grapefrui and pine with cocoa and bready yeast. Flavours are weetabix malts followed by plenty of piney, earthy, dry hops. Spicy with hints of ginger. Resinous bitter lemon and grapefruit with spritzy yeast with some nuttiness. Very dry on the finish. Very moreish. AleManTom (195) - Chapel en le Frith, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2011
Very drinkable ale but not as good as Stone the Crows which I’ve previously had from Lymestone. Peppery, slightly fruityness, a dry finish, refreshing and average.

cask at stockbridge tap ... soft copper ... thin white head ... soft sweet fruits .... light spicy fruit hop ... juicy malts ... nice toffee . imdownthepub (14983) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2010
Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’10, gravity dispensed. Reddish copper with white head. The first thing you notice with this is how strongly bitter it is, cheek drawing, lip pursing bitterness with a dry malty background. The Amarillo’s give hints of the wild west. A decent brew.
