Cask pint in my local Wetherspoons on 19th April 2016. Pale golden pour, white head with lacing. Tropical fruit nose, grapefruit and citrus flavours taste wise with a bitter finish. Another UK brewed light gold citrus flavoured beer, this one wasnt too bad though.

Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, grapefruit, some melon, slight pineapple, a little pale malts and subtle floral hops. Taste is similar of lemon, a hint of lime, grapefruit, some melon, slight pale malts and floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, citrus and floral hop bitterness in the finish. A tasty, dry, new world hopped golden ale.

Piana: Biała, drobnopęcherzykowa. Bardzo ładnie oblepia szkło. Kolor: Opalizujące złote. Zapach: Kwiatowy zmieszany z zapachem starego potu. Chmielowe nuty cytrusowe. Spora estrowość w typie świeżych śliwek, moreli. Smak: Stosunkowo spora podbudowa. Sporo przyjemnej cytrusowej kwiatowości. Dość intensywne nuty rozpuszczalnikowe. Tekstura: Bardzo gładkie. Nie pozostawia osadu ani ściągania. Nasycenie: Minimalne.

Cask (handpump) at the Sir John Oldcastle (JD Wetherspoon) on 13 April 2013. Nice clean gold. Decent vaguely flowery hops on the nose. Dry with lots of zesty citrus on the palate. Lasting bitterness. Very refreshing. Nicely done.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading] My first beer from this brewery pours an attractive solid yellow gold with a moderate white head & middling fizz. Theres lots of hops here- an explosion of different flavours when the beer hits your tongue. Theres pine, melon, salt and seaweed, kiwi, lime and grapefruit. Theres lots of fruitiness, but defintiely a big hit of a rocky Cornish bay on a warm day - an unusual impression for a beer from a landlocked county! This is really good - an exciting, unusual beer thats complex and stuffed full of flavour with a tingly mouth-puckering dryness and bitterness in the finish. A bold assertion of where British brewing is now at, which really needs a more modern, vibrant pump clip to draw attention to it. Well done - are all Lymestones beers this good? If so, I want more!
