A rich red to black beer carefully crafted from the finest crystal and chocolate malts. Chewy juicy fruit flavours give way to a deep lingering bitterness provided by an abundance of Styrian Goldings, Millenium and Nugget hops.

GBBF. Cask. Clear dark brown beer. Light dry palate. Good malt with a streak of sour chocolate. Well hidden hoppy fruit at the very end. Nicely joined up and tasty.

Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2010
Cask. Pours a hazy dark brown with an orange hue and a small off-white head. Roasted malt and nuts in the nose. Light body, almost flat, roasted malt, nuts and sweet coffee. Hardly any bitterness. I would call this a Porter. 200110

Cask at the Cross Keys, JDW. Pours a slightly murky brown with an off-white, foam head. Faint toast malts in the nose, some ripe fruit perhaps. Medium sweet flavor, dry, rich toast with Nutella maybe. Hints of yeast and nuts. Light caramel and some butter. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dryish finish, some brown sugar, earthy bitterness, bread, light grass. An interesting beer, seems a bit conflicted, maybe suffering a crisis of identity, but not altogether bad.

Rasmus40 (21476) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2012
Clear dark dark reddish amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and notes of glue (thanks to Camons for giving me that association, you bastard.). Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 020812
