UPDATED: JUL 6, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) The Norwegians seem to like their Ice" or "Summmer" beers and most of them are actually surprisingly nice. This "Lysholmer" has a very nice hoppy nose, a full golden colour but just about no head. Surprisingly full-bodied with some sweetness. Good. 260204 nilsas (4114) - Bryne, NORWAY - JUN 4, 2013
Lysholmer Double Ice er et friskt, fruktig og aromatisk lyst øl. Lysholmer Double Ice er lettdrikkelig med relativt lav humlebitterhet. Eirikur (386) - hafnarfjordur, ICELAND - JUN 10, 2004
This beer is better than I thought it would be, it is very well balanced and refreshing, it also has that thichness to it, similar to Budvar. Nice. cgarvieuk (24456) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 8, 2008
330ml Can at home thanks to KnutAlbert for dumping this on any fool wanting to try at at RBESG ... pale lager yellow ... sweet nose with some toffee tones ... thin lagery no real character. larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 16, 2006
Big white coarse-laced fast-shrinking head over light copper body with occasional carbonation. Clean, sweetish apple-like aroma with very faint notes of malt. Round, clean taste of very little with appleish notes; aftertaste is bitter. Well. It’s a successful ice beer, in that there is hardly any taste, and no off taste.

Heldere gouden kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt pils-achtig. Smaakt zoetig, fruitig, snoep. Niet heel koud in tegenstelling tot de rest van Noorwegen. Kåstå (1273) - Mol, BELGIUM - JUN 6, 2004
Blond beer with a small head. Both aroma and taste is maltier than expected. A light bitterness comes at the end. Quite ok for its kind. OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2007
I’m not so comfortable with the "Ice" style and thought that this "Double Ice" thing maybe ment "Double removal of aroma and flavor". Wrong. This is a decent lager; Clear pale golden, thin white head. Fruity aroma, mainly apples. Weak, but clean taste. Slight sweet malts with a light hopbitterness. Quite thin. Short, sourish finish. Can 50 cl. Apperance; Golden, clear with a minimal white head. Aroma; citrus, sweet malty and some sence of caramel. Flavor; sweet malt and light hoppy, light light bitter ending. Not bad fiulijn (20491) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 3, 2003
Blond to golden color. Decent malt aroma. Reasonable body strength and correct hopping. Just suitable for the thirst, but surprising as an Ice Beer.
