Terrible beer. An Amber Beer with lots of sour notes which somehow didn't seem to fit the Amber type. Had to flush it down the drain...

Bottle 30cl. @home poured into a lager glass. Clear medium amber, tall creamy light beige head, good retention, heavy lacing; aroma toasted malts, grain, caramel, dark fruits (might be slightly infected); taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, light dark fruits; toasted sweetbitter aftertaste, fruity and earthy notes; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; nice one, easy to drink,

[email protected] ijscafé oud Vijlen. Amber/ koper kleurig bier, mooie vaste kraag. Ruikt moutig, caramel, muffig. Smaakt moutig bitterzoet, licht caramel.. Best een volle smaak.

Zowel van tap in de brouwerij, als thuis uit fles. Een lekker zoetig aroma, en ook de smaak is zoetig. Mooie kleur. Prettig bier dat krachtiger overkomt dan het alcoholpercentage.

Medium yellowish-cream head over well-carbonated orange-amber beer. Caramel nose, manure, strawbales from the stables, arachide. Lightly sourish and bitterish taste, non-sweet caramel. Dry, bitterish leaves. Again some arachide/peanut, but very mildly. Feels well-carbonated, spritzy. Light body, bit slick. OK, but some aromas/flavours make me fear for a (slight) infection.

Drinking from a 33 cl bottle. In the aroma caramel and malt. The clear dark orange beer has a medium white head. In the taste caramel, malt and grains. Medium carbonated.

Bottle from a licqor store near Leerdam, The Netherlands. The beer is amber colored and has a stable and creamy head, with average carbonation. The aroma is malty, some roasted notes, caramel, and some spicy hops. The taste is bitter/sweet and malty and notes from the aroma, such as roasted malts, raisins and in the end a spicy bitterness. The finish is hoppy and grassy with a light spicy bitterness.
