Meer een droge stout. Vrij chocoladerig, beetje wrang, lichte zoet. Wel volle smaak. Maarten1993 (1373) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - FEB 4, 2016

4/26/2012 2:54:25 PM Bottle from Bierkoning. Dark brown body with thin tan head. Nose of malts, licorice, smoky. Taste is toffee, caramel, sweet molasses. Quite nice. kappldav123 (6135) - GERMANY - DEC 28, 2014
Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge long living head. Starts not as strong as exspected, intense malty, more and more alcoholic. Some earthy notes. Finish a bit milder. Okay. MarcoDL (5419) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 12, 2014
Bottle. Ruby, brown beer, white head. Aroma of caramel and butter. Taste is creamy, with notes of caramel, hazelnut, licorice and biscuit. Dry finish. Quite nice.

0,3 l bottle, bought at slijterij Benting, Coevorden. A dark red brown in the glass, mighty beige head. Malt and a little bit sweetness on the nose. Starts roastmalty with a pleasant sweetness, little bit alcoholic sharpness. Later more dark malt, coffee, hints of citrus and pepper. Nice dutch bock. thanatosti (1811) - Culemborg, NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2014

Brown with a huge beige head. Malty aroma with some caramel. Nice old-fashioned full bodied bock.
Bottled. 33cl sample. The Aroma had caramel, figs and some raisin. Hazy, brown coloured with a light beige head. The taste is sweet, has some bitterness. Figs, caramel, raisin, some Pine. Okay for the style. Sissio (1761) - Orsenigo, ITALY - SEP 13, 2014

Roasted malts, winey, a hint of caramel
Oily, winey, roasted caramel malts, light sweet licorice ending
Bottle @ home. Hazy red to brown color, medium sized beige to lightly brown head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, some chocolate, lightly iron. Nicely bitter in the finish, quite well bodied, pleasant carbonation. Surprisingly good I’d say. Really nice Dunkler Bock.
