Tijdens bokken en happen, robijnrood biertje met mooie schuimkraag niet erg bitter, eerder hoppig en een beetje alcoholisch

Prima bier. Vooral zoet, licht bitter en zeer licht zuurtje aanwezig. Aroma van caramel en gist. Licht moutig, vooral in de neus. Best lekker!

Draught @ GEIB, Grande Esposizione Italiane della Birra 2012, Nuova Fiera di Roma, via Portuense 1645, Rome, Italy 00100.

Unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oxidide malt, victorian furniture, old malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet caramel, fruity, sugary, caramel, oxidide notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Dark red-brown colour, unclear, with a tan head. Aroma is sour. Flavour is sour as well, with some spices. Not too well.

Bottled. Reddish brown coloured. Very unclean aroma and flavour. Very yeasty and sour. Light bodied. Very bad.

MoritzF (10018) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JAN 30, 2006
(bottle, from bierkoning) Murky and hazy brown colour with big yeast floaties and a medium-sized foamy beige head. Sour and fruity (citrus, orange peel) aroma, yeasty with a tinge of caramel. Quite thin-bodied fizzy mouthfeel. Slightly roasted malty (and wheaty) taste with caramel and a distinctive bitter & light-sour fruitiness. Yeasty and fruity malty finish, which is rather slim with a light bitter and hoppy note. According to the relatively high ABV quite slim, but not really unpleasant but interesting Dutch (Tarwe-)Bock.

(Bottle 30 cl) Gee, here we go again: another Dutch Bock that is more sour than sweet - odd for a Bock. Cloudy dark brown with a thick, brownish head. Loads of lovely roasted malt with a dry, light bitter finish. Delicious. 021204

Brown color with a beige head. The taste is bitter almost sour with strong yesaty notes finishes with a almost coffee like bitterness.

Ungstrup (38152) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 14, 2004
A brun beer with a light brown head. The aroma is yeast and sour. The flavor is dominated by coriander on a sour background. Maybe this one should have been drunk young indstead of 7 months old, though still in due time before best before date or maybe this one for me is just another poor Dutch microbrew.

fiulijn (20992) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 1, 2003
Unfiltered. Brown-amber color; thick head. Malty aroma, light esters, bran, yeast, celery (?), apricots; hop flowers; interesting!. Average body, light maltiness, sourness, sweetness, caramel, fudge; balanced but not incisive. Short. Thanks to Jens Ungstrup for this trade.
