500 ml bottle purchated at the coop brewery on November 4, 2018. Clear hazy gold, big head. Sweet spicy hay aroma, very yeasty. Citrus hay taste, quite dry, a bit bitter. Too light on the flavor!

(Rating #7262)

bottle courtesy of pours clear very light yellow with a frothy and creamy white head offering good retention and lacing. delicate yet perfumey exotic citrus - their bittersweet essential oils; coconut water, white pepper - exotic corns as well; white grapes, rustic cereals, woodsy unmistakable funky sorachi ace, honeydew melons and cantaloups, pineapples too; rustic cereals, lightly sulphuric herbs, light fun phenolic notes, tasty and zesty seeaissson yeast; lots of chalk. bright carboantion, light body - thin but never watery; dry, very lightly tart and crisp spicy-citrusy finish. stunning farmhouse saison - much enjoyed!

Pours a clear and very pale golden with a medium white head that leaves very nice lacing. Nose is honey, pepper and herbs. Reminescent of some Blaugies saison, really. Taste is dry with a hint of acidity, offers more pepper and some crisp cereals. Moderately bitter. Cleans the palate quite effectively and leaves you wanting more. Body is light to medium, carbonation a touch over medium. A mighty fine saison for sure! This needs to be a regular so I can get it reg-u-lar-ly. Yep.

Bottle at the brewery. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Citrus, honey, melon, musk. Beautiful. Medium bodied, lightly tangy, dry and vibrant, light and easy. Soft musk into the finish.

Multiple bottles (500 ml) at home. Hazy greenish pale yellow with a medium white head, good retention, leaving little lacing. Aroma is delicate with peppery Saison yeast, moderate herbalness, cereals and lemony notes. Taste is lemony and herbal with peppery yeast, wheat and mineral notes. Light body, never watery. High carbonation. Fluffy mouthfeel. Peppery finish with a nice lemony and wheaty touch at the end. Extremely easy to drink and quenching. Delicate but flavorful. Loved it.

My Bottom Line:
This fluffiest of Saisons juxtaposes haystacks and bitter herbs in a most appealing way.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A generous head of foam crowns the cloudy whitish pale yellow.
-Carbonation is very high, but also feels very natural and comfortable.
-At 4% abv, this is a wonderful lunchtime quencher.
-Chalk-like minerals are found within.
-Wheat adds a pleasant lightness to the beer.
