Mac & Jack’s Brewery 2011 Two Tun IPA. 4 oz. Taster @ Fremont, Seattle Hop Scotch Beer & Scotch Festival on 4/2/2011. 7.00% ABV. 70 IBU’s. Foamy lacy white head. Clear bright rich amber color. Big herbal floral hop front. Dry sweet thin textured toasted caramel hop resin rich piney body. Dry bitter hop spice end. Hoppy, but totally unbalanced with missing malt. (2.0 / 5.0)
On tap at the brewery. Pours out a hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is floral citrus hops some sweet malts. Taste is more of the light floral hops a little muted but still ok. beastiefan2k (4033) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - JAN 1, 2015
Sample at the brewpub. This one is surprisingly hard to find around town. Its a sweet and sticky malt beer that seems to be muddled by hops. So, the hoppiness isn’t clear and direct and the malts are too sweet. Not what I like. pinkzambia (2051) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 11, 2014
Tap @ Africa Lounge - Seatac: cloudy copper color with a fluffy cream colored head and some sticky lacing. Quite a green aroma of fresh musty hops, some floral notes. Hoppy bitter flavor with some pine and juniper shrub. Kind if a funky aftertaste where this beer probably gets it’s lower rating. Weird, like sour oats and hairspray. If they fixed that this would be a great brew. skoisirius (1909) - Earth, Washington, USA - SEP 11, 2014
Average NW Single IPA. Nice malt profile, hops don’t stand out enough for any cray IPA drinker though. brokensail (16609) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 7, 2014
On tap @ Africa Lounge (SEA-TAC). Light amber/orange pour with white foam. Some butterscotch and caramel malts up front...damnit. Floral and lightly citrusy hops. Toasted grain and some hints of pine. Flavor has a lot of malt sweetness of butterscotch, caramel, and bread. Light bitterness of pine and citrus rind. Decent floral character. Meh.

Draft at africa lounge. Poured into frozen glass, cold enough that there's slush in the glass. Going to let it sit as long as I can, but i have a plane to catch and unlike African amber which is on tap everywhere in Seattle, I don't know when I'll see this again outside of the airport. Amber color, dense white foam head that lasts forever. Aroma: tropical citrus, pine, caramel underneath. Taste: light-moderate sweetness, biscuit, dank hop bitterness in the finish. palate: medium body, lively carbonation; still so cold. finish duration neither short nor long. Overall: I hate flying. Thank goodness for alcohol. A perfectly reasonable ipa for 9:00 am.

Pours a light amber with a small head. Smell is fruity, almost berry like. Taste is tropical and refreshing, very unique, bit of pine on the end. The more you drink, the less good it gets. Not bad, better than I remembered. yespr (46527) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2012
From tap at African Lounge, SeaTac airport. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity hoppy, light toasted malty and caramelish. Medium sweet flavoured, light bitter and crisp hops fruity. Ends bitter and light citrusy. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - FEB 1, 2012
Sample at brewery. Hazy gold, lots of floral and citrus aroma with some pine. Taste has a great balance of bitter hop and floral/tropical hop. Nice texture and carbonation. Really great beer.
