Pours brilliant straw-yellow. Dense and mostly diminishing medium white head. Light citric and grassy hop aroma along with some nice whiffs of sweetish pale malts and freshly baked bread. Taste is light sweet lemon with a mild and gentle hopbitterness. Dry and subdued maltflavors. Feels a little watered down in the mouth. Mild bitterness in the finish. Slim body. Overall a well balanced, elegant and quenching pale lager. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2008
At May Ratebeer London Gathering at Chris O’s. Thanks to Finn for this one. Pale gold. Some malt in the aroma. Sweet rather wheaty taste with some sourness and late bitterness. Not bad. But I don’t like the name, which probably sounds fine in Norwegian. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 22, 2007
Extremely light (and very expensive). Some malty body, a little citrus in the finish. Fancy packaging, but I don’t know what they want with this. Skinnyviking (9569) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 5, 2008
Can. High white and creamy lasting head leaving nice curtains. Slightly hazy yellow body. Weak barley malt aroma, on the sweet side, with a touch of lemon. Relatively carbonated mild and sweet without much hops bitterness. Short aftertaste. Quite refreshing htoun, on a wark day like todday. Nordcore (1496) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - MAR 14, 2009

Mack launced its new series Fluid in early October 07. Fluid is ecologically brewed and according to the advertisement only the fines raw materials have been used. The modern design on the four-pack and on the cans has also been stressed. However, the design does not make me think of beer, but rather of clothes.Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 18, 2007
My rating is based on three cans with The Fine Lager (330ml, 4.7% ABV). Pours a creamy, white head with moderate duration. Clear straw coloured body. Grassy aroma with light hints of fruity hops. Grain and pale malt in flavour offset by a brush of lemon. Some bitterness can be detected at the ending. Soft and a bit foamy mouthfeel. Moderate palate. One of the best of its kind from Mack - which does not really say a lot (Tromsø, Oct.07).
(Can 33 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Clear, golden with a white head. Malty aroma with a grassy whiff. Medium body, sweetish malty with a dry hopping. Fairly uncomplicated but also quite uninteresting. 171207 yespr (45412) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2007
33 cL can. Pours golden and slight hazy yellow with a little white head. Slight grassy and mild hoppy aroma. Flavour is mild floral and bitter hops. Mild dry finish. larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 28, 2007
Medium shiny white lasting head. Pale yellow body. Faint apple and malt aroma. Light grassy apple and malt taste with buttery notes. Too watery. Dryish perfumy, papery malty aftertaste. It’s not really bad, but too artificial and perfumy for my tastes. Could do without the butter, too. (0.33l can from Ica Gourmet, Aker Brygge, Oslo.) 330ml can. Clear golden body with a moderate fast disappearing white head. Aroma is vague sweet malty and grassy. Flavor is thin, fruity, refreshing with some bitterness. Not very complex and quite boring but drinkable.
