Lys pilsner. Isbjørn er en lys og leskende pilsner som smaker like godt på late sommerdager som mørke vinterkvelder.
Ingredienser: Vann, byggmalt, humle og gjær.

Appearance: Clear golden color with a white fine head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Mild malty and herbal hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation. Oily.
Taste: Malty, grassy and grainy.
Overall impression: Poor Icebear. I hope The Icebear seek revenge for this lousy beer.
Personal stats: Bottle from Varnaveien Mineralvann in Moss, Norway

Aroma is like a light pilsner, nothing more. I wouldn’t be able to discern this from any other macro-lager. The flavor is definately malty and toasty. Maltier than most store-bought pilsners. I can not say that theres any off-flavors to this brew. Not bad, but not amazing either.

Bottle at home. Poured a clear golden color with a short lived not too frisky white head. Smells malty and like pretzels. Tastes slightly sour and watery. No bitterness to talk of and a lot of sweetness. Meh

Bottle from Meny, Sørlandssenteret. Pours very light golden, almost clear. Very little head. Not much nose at all. Some malt and butter. Hay and wort flavour as well. Low bitterness and sweetness. Think body. Low carbonation.

Clear golden color, creamy white head. Aroma is grainy and rice-malty, a bit skunky too. Light-bodied, watery. Skunky and grainy. Short finish. Enuff said.

[email protected] (from Rema 1000, Kirkenes). Pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, hay, wet cardboard and some slight dusty notes. Flavour is very similar in a very thin way. This one wasn’t a big hit...

Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, vegetables notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sugary, malty. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20141025]

330 ml bottle. Clear, golden body with a dedcent white head. Very light aroma and not much flavor here at all. Weak malt/grain and almost no bitterness. Difficult to find anything at all to write about besides no obvious faults. Less flavor than other similar pale lagers. Boring. Probably made for the marked of those who actually don’t like beer but would like to have a fizzy yellow beer in their hand. Made uninspired, also rated that way.
