BillHick420 (460) - NORWAY - DEC 21, 2012
Pours hazy red/brown with a brownish head. Sweet malts on the nose. Aroma of light caramel and spices. Weak aroma. Another macro brew, but OK if you’re out of other stuff.

smmaaren (588) - NORWAY - DEC 15, 2012
33 cl bottle (new recyclable) Fruity aroma, small head and redish colour. Good beer, typical norwegian christmas style.

Holmen1 (5839) - Stavanger, NORWAY - DEC 14, 2012
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2013 Flaske hjemme: rubinrød, noe uklar.

TyggaBrown (430) - NORWAY - NOV 11, 2012
330 ml bottle. This is too much of the dried fruites, but the body and level of bitterness is close to perfect.

Bottle. Dark brown body, small beige head. Aroma of raisins, fruit, caramel. Taste of rye, prunes and chocolate, hops. A bit thin, but a nice beer overall.

On tap in Olhallen, Tromso. Clear dark red - brown beer. Small cream coloured head. Smooth palate with fine carbonation. Creamy malt. Dark toffee. A little molasses - marmite. A whisper of spiciness. Lacto. Good tart fruits bringing up the rear. Figs, prunes and berry fruits. Semi dry finish. Another decent Mack beer.

Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 13, 2012
In bottle at Craig’s. Pours a brown colour with a lacy beige head. A spicy aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel and treacle. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel.

Foffern (1872) - Bodø, NORWAY - DEC 22, 2011
Bottle at home. Redbrown golden beer. Light beige and frothy head which fades fast. Sweet aromas of milk chocolate and sugar candy, hints of leather. The flavour is surprising with a lot more spices and pepper. In the flavour than expected. I also find salty tones of soy sauce. Hints of leather, milk chocolate and some metal. Mouthfeel is watery and some oily. Overall a spicy and nice christmas beer.

Nightfall (1307) - Hamburg, GERMANY - DEC 19, 2011
Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Hazy amber to cola color with a small white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste, spices and caramel.
