UPDATED: FEB 29, 2012 Can. Brown colour with an off white head. Light malt nose. A very mild brown ale, some caramel and toffe, light hops. KnutAlbert (6798) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2005
Nice color, manages to be both malty and slightly bitter at the same time. Certainly an alterantive tot he brown ale fro Newcastle, but no taste explosions here. For newcomers on their way to real ale, perhaps. KM (418) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 25, 2008
Can. Fine medium sized off white head. Brown body. Plain malty aroma. A little sweetness. Very light fruitiness in the flavour, not much more. (At home, 29.02.08) Nordcore (1698) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - MAR 8, 2009

A nut brown beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is very nutty, while the flavor is malty combined with nutty notes, leading to a dry end. Nothing wrong - just nothing exciting either. Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - NOV 30, 2006
Canned. Pale brown coloured. Rather weak with notes of nuts, malts, caramel, metal and some fish. Light to medium bodied. tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - APR 23, 2007
UPDATED: JUN 17, 2008 Can 44 cl. Brown, white fast disappearing head. Nice malt and hints of Smørbukk caramel. A drinkabel dark lager; would have scored a lot more with more bitterness. Skinnyviking (9767) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 5, 2007
Can. High creamy and long lasting off-white head. Beautiful clear ruby body. Weak barley mallt aroma without the espcected fruity sweetness. Watery flavor with a little caramel and little hops bitternes. Even a bit metallic I guess from the can. Low carbonation and short aftertaste. Not interesting. 440 ml can. Brown in colour and crystal clear. Small coarse white head. Seemingly high in carbonation. Slight nutty aroma with some soft and sweet malts. Gentle mouthfeel with a crisp chocolatey nutty flavour. Very dry, lacking the sweetness you’d expect in a brown ale. Very lager-like. Subdued all the way though. Shouldn’t offend anyone. Decent easy-drinking alternative for lager drinkers, but it does not offer anything close to what you’d expect of it. Disappointing.
