Holmen2 (3851) - NORWAY - MAR 19, 2017
Bottle of 2015 vintage shared with JMD at HNB 19.03.17. Ebony. Beige head and lacing. Strong aroma of star anise, cloves, lemongrass, sour dark berries and vegetables. Sour lambic taste, similar to aroma. Sour, dry, astringent and unappealing aftertaste. Low drinkability. yngwie (17109) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 19, 2016
Bottle. An unclear brown colored beer with a light beige head. Acetone, some prunes and roasted malts, spice notes, some cherry and a touch of vinegar in the aroma. It’s rather tart on the palate, medium body fullness, with flavors of acetone, raisins, roasted malts and notes of cherry and spices. Lasting finish. Sure off this one, not pleasant at all, guess it could’ve been a 6-3-6-3-13 beer if it was in good shape, but it’s still not worth repeating. 160102 gunnfryd (15099) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 6, 2016

Pours dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, vinegar and berries. Taste is light sweet and medium to heavy sour with a long dry, vinegar, acetone and berry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
500 ml bottle. Dark amber body with a thin beige head. Aroma has caramel malt and cherry stone with some vinegar. Flavor is sweet and sour, slightly spicy and lots of unpleasant sour vinegar. From the previous ratings there seems to be an infection that develops since the release of this beer. Right now I find it undrinkable without any traces of what this might have been tasting. Bottle. Pours dark brown with a tiny head. Aroma of nail polish, red grapes, some spices and caramel. Flavor is sour and sweet with some vinous notes, vinegar and more vinegar. Medium body, average carbonation. Inbreak (6328) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - DEC 24, 2015

Small bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish dry, vinegar, minerals, bark, grass, weeds, cloves, dark sugar, hints of balsamic vinegar. Taste is slightly sour-ish mineraly, weeds, grass, minerals, mild vinegar, soil, bark, weeds, spices, metal tank, dark malts, dark sour berries. Little bitterness, sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. I refuse to believe Mack has made a spiced sour-ish barrelaged beer on purpose. So this beer is definately infected. But for what it is, there’s still something interesting vinegary about it, making it not completely awful...
Bottle (50cl) from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. Murky, dark greyish brown colour, no head. Spicy, acidic aroma with aniseed, cloves, malt, vinegar. Medium body, refreshing mouthfeel, transient vinegar burn on the palate. Taste is tart and spicy, to some degree balanced by fruity sweetness. Unbalanced and fairly unpleasant when cold, but improves significantly when getting warmer. Skinnyviking (9644) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 10, 2015
Draught at Ølhallen. High creamy white lasting head. Pitch black body. Spicy and yet watery anise cardamom and cinnamon aroma and flavor with a accidic vinaigre note. Low carbonation. Long acidic spicy finish.
