Bottle. Deep amber body with a fizzy, off-white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of dry, dusty grain, caramel and some citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture turning sticky, lively carbonation. Taste of husky grain and caramel, both of which are more forward than the hops. The beer dries out in the finish, but leaves a grainy bitterness. Clunky and unrefined. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 18, 2012
bottle - Brewed for the Mackinac Island Brewhouse. Pours hazy amber-orange with a huge light tan head and good lacing. The smell is of citrus and band aids. The flavor is similar and lightly sweet. It’s bubbly with mild to moderate bitterness. That off taste is still there though and it brings this beer down. Drinkable but mediocre at best. Bad bottle or bad beer. My 300th Michigan beer.
