Pours a clean amber colour with a big frothy beige head, good retention and thick foamy lacing. The hop is kind of sharp in the nose taking away from the caramel and roasted malts. Wow, just like their Armchair Scotch Ale, seems like the hops used in here is totally not the right one. Maybe got a special on this one. Sucks!! Fruity malts help this out a bit. Again, not a well-balanced brew. Looks good. That’s about it. 97hill (191) - - JUL 23, 2016
pretty decent English Style Ale , nice hint of hops in the finish.
Good solid beer that is nothing special but way better than most. ChadPoole (478) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 22, 2016
Pours orange amber with a small fast fading white head. Aroma is malt, and carmel. Taste is more malt than hops, sweet with a slight bitter finish. Nothing special. CRock (238) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 16, 2016
A very dry finish to this beer. The mouth feel is very unique. It has somewhat of a metallic taste. Different but not my favourite. markas101 (2435) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JAN 6, 2016
Bottle, Ann Arbor, MI via Reinis. Gold, biscuit and honey aroma. Sweet followed by a jive sharpness. Some caramel and citrus. Hops come out on the finish. Pretty good!

Mild aroma of hops and caramel. Amber colour with little to no head. Flavour is mild-- not enough hops and malt. probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - APR 3, 2015
500 ml bottle from LCBO served cool in a tulip glass. Vibrant orange-amber with a frothy orange-light tan head. Bright and fruity, woodsy/floral hops, some caramel, esters, a bit of citrus, a faint metallic note, British malts. Medium+ body, fairly high carbonation. Floral and woodsy, some caramel, fairly fruity, a little citrus; dry with nice bitterness and a hoppy, fruity, British malt finish. Delivers on its promise of an EPA. It pours with a decent-sized, lacy, off-white head on a light copper body. There’s lots of biscuity malt to the nose, with almost no notable hops. That biscuit is also in the flavour along with some bitterness. I wasn’t too impressed with the finish or the beer overall. Strangebrewer (1297) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 24, 2014
bottle. Poured clear orange-amber with a thin creamy off white head. Slight bready wheat aroma with floral hops. Medium mouthfeel, crisp carbonation, sticky dry finish. Nice malt flavour, toasted grains with a sweet caramel note and a grassy hop finish. jksipa (918) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 11, 2014
Bottle from the LCBO. Clear medium copper with a good sized off white head that fades gradually. Nose is mostly caramel malts with a touch of floral hops. Medium light sweetness with an underlying light bitter hop base and hints of wood. Mouth is a bit thin and watery with soft carbonation. Decent enough.
