A light-coloured lager conditioned over 30 days. It has a good head, balanced sweet/bitter palate and a clean aftertaste. Brewed for the connoisseur, Mac’s Gold is brewed using only choice Motueka hops and quality barley. The bottom fermentation process of brewing by using a gravity system produces a naturally-brewed, all malt lager that contains no added chemicals, preservatives or colouring.

Bottle 330ml.
Clear light yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Just borring ! [20081231]

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Light grassy and slight cornish malt aroma. Bitter and smooth malt flavoured. Light bitterness and smooth roasted malt flavoured. Light bitter finish.

A golden beer with a fine but fast disappearing head. The aroma is malty sweet , but a simple pilsener aroma. The flavor is a weird artificial malty one - dry but not very carbonated. It ends on an OK bitterness. A really boring lager.

Bottle at yespr. Clear yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Malty aroma of caramel with notes of bread. Malty flavour of caramel, bread and hops. Finish of bread.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, malts and some rubber. Flavour is saltwater, mild hoppy bitterness and some hints of malts and maize.

Bottle at home ... first lower alcohol i could find inbetween good beers :-) ... Golden yellow ... sweet malty lager nose ...tad over sweet malt no real depth.

omhper (25740) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2003
Bottled. Pale golden, Brief papery aroma. Dry yet fruity. The falvour is extremely short which leaves a vacuum behind it along with a stinging metallic feeling on your tongue, and a wish for a beer to wash it all down.

Clear pale gold beer. Short lived white head. Light palate a little dry. Very light malt with just a whisper of hop. Competent but bog standard lager. Easy drinking.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2008 (Bottle 33,5 cl) McCashin’s, a small and proundly independent brewery situated in the middle of the hop growing area in NZ around Nelson. Pale golden, with quite a decent head. Fairly classical lager type with a nice hop-bite. Surprisingly full body considering the low alcohol. 270603

(On tap) Courtesy of yalnikim. Clear, pale golden with a small, white head. Lightly sweet, malty nose. Medium body with notes of malt, brewing cereal and fruit. Dry finish. In the better end of NZ Pale Lagers, yet still just a Pale Lager though. 4/2/4/2/8=2.0 310108

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, getreidig, leicht süß. Geschmack wässrig, leicht malzig getreidig, minimal herb.
