330ml bottle. A clear golden lager with a small white head providing good lacing. Nose of sweet grainy malts and light fruity hops. Flavours are similar to the nose. Medium bodied with a clean smooth mouthfeel. Finishes with a medium dry hop bitterness. A solid Pils. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 16, 2009
330ml bottle. Somewhat indifferent. Clear amber with a thin lasting white clumpy head. Light aroma. Thin. Sort of hoppy flavour. davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 5, 2009
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2009 Bottle 330 ml. Not my favourite style, but better than most pilseners. Aroma is hoppy and floral. The flavour has a strong malty start, with a good lasting bitterness. Colour is yellow, and it has a thin but long-lasting head. Palate is light and dry.

A tasty, tropical flavoured NZ pilsener. It brings joy to my heart that a Lion Nathan owned brewery can still make a tasty beer. This is pretty much my standby supermarket beer, and I hope it never goes away. sw (63) - USA - AUG 1, 2009
Tasted this beer along side 5 other german pils. This beer seemed way out of style. A nice beer, but more in the pale ale category. A very strong pleasent floral hop aroma with a sweetwer than normal finish for a pilsener made me think i was drinking a very nice apa. A great beer but i feel it is out of style.

330ml bottle. Pours clean and sparkling and very well carbonated, maybe a little too much. Large voluminous creamy white head and a golden straw colour. Grain and malt aroma that is clean and crisp with no hidden surprises. Clean taste with a nice balance and lasting aftertaste with some citrus background flavours. Light in the mouth and overall quite good with good lacing left on the glass. donfardz64 (538) - Wellington, New Zealand, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 21, 2009
Pours pale golden, lingering white head. nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - APR 11, 2009
Aroma is dominated by grapefruity hops, theres a bit of grain.
Flavour is quite bitter, dominated by hops bringing grapefruit. Very dry. An excellent example of the fruitier NZ take on the pilsener style.
Draught at Mac’s Brewbar, Auckland. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt and grassy hops. The flavour is malt, grass and moderate hop bitterness. Clean and crisp mouthfeel. One of the better brews in the bar. DuffMan (10435) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 6, 2009
Bottle. Pours a bright clear gold with a thick frothy white head leaving dense lace at the top. Sweaty aroma initially, followed by grassy hops. Clean grainy palate with a nice herbal grassy hop character. Crisp bitter finish. A well done pilsener. kiwibt (55) - , NEW ZEALAND - MAR 20, 2009
Bottle bb 10/11/09
Pours clear lite yellow/gold
Aroma of sweet fruits and burnt rubber.
Sl diacetyl, sweet oily nz saaz with meduim bitterness.
Ok beer, not my idea of a pilsener as the hop is to flavour sweet dominant, could be more biiter as well.
