Bottle. Pours a bright clear gold with a thick frothy white head leaving dense lace at the top. Sweaty aroma initially, followed by grassy hops. Clean grainy palate with a nice herbal grassy hop character. Crisp bitter finish. A well done pilsener. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 16, 2010
330mL. Pours a clear straw with a giant, white, rocky head with massive sheety lace. Aroma is grassy hops, lemon, fresh flowers, tropical notes from the Nelson Sauvin, lilac. Taste is just a bit too doughy and grainy for a pils but is rich, fresh, fairly sharp, moving to full nutty to tree sappy bitter. Dry palate. 3fourths (9332) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 28, 2013
From draft. Clear gold, effervescent with a small white head. Medium body, dry, tart, vitamin-like and husky with a sourish grain flavor that grows unbearable after only a few sniffs and sips. Plant matter, leaves, vegetable bitterness, coming across as over-hopped due to the horribly astringent malt. Add to that coarse seltzer water carbonation and suggestions of burnt popcorn, itís difficult to find anything to like about this beer.
