COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich, amber hue and full-bodied flavor begin with roasted, domestic caramel malt. It’s sweetness is then tempered with genuine Cascade hops, which are added again at the end of the boil for a distinctive, citric-floral aroma.

Rich copper color with a thick head. I didn’t pick up much on the aroma, light floral hop notes. Taste was not overly hopped and definitely not too sweet but a bit thin, watery. Unfortunately, it just across as mediocre at best. Not a real standout in aroma or taste. Incredible lace that absolutely decorated the glass. Mouthfeel was average, light body. No horrible aftertaste but also nothing that pulls you back for another sip. The low abv and average character make it a sessionable contender but not on a regular basis.

Straight from bottle... Aroma of malt slight spices, taste slightly strong carbonation with a short after taste not bad. Decent brew but I find it nothing special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A little more depth than your average amber - has some hop to it. Basic, clean and easy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

IBU 32. Easy going, drinkable, mellow amber. Better, richer flavor than Alaskan Amber. Low abv. Smooth. Maybe too tame. But enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

stevoj (5046) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 28, 2013
Bottle from Albertson’s. Bland and uninteresting. Amber in color with short, dull head. Light malty aroma. Taste is weak caramel malt with a short hops bite and very short finish. Not much remains on the palate. Mouthfeel edges on watery. Pass on this one.

SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - SEP 15, 2013
Bottle: Poured a Copper orange with an off white head. Aroma is soft hops and malts. Taste is nice caramel malt with a hint of hops to set it off.

Aquilo (651) - Berkeley, California, USA - AUG 7, 2013
Clear brown with a thick head. Rye bread aroma. Flavor is very mild. This is a good, clean tasting ale, but nothing to write home about.

Sammer (1119) - Plano, Texas, USA - MAY 21, 2013
Bottle. Taste is rye, bitter lemon peel, grain and some hops. Low abv makes for an easy drinking beer.

On tap at Seattle. Disappointing Amber Ale... Boring taste and faint aroma
