An unorthodox negative-ten degrees windchill out right now... what a perfect beer to be drinking. Rich, malty, and sweet. A touch of spice, but not too much. Truly 'perfect for fireside sipping.'

Deep ruby red to brown color, light brown head, average lace. Nose is malt and hop floral, the start is malt, the middle is medium as is the carbonation, the finish some what dry and hop spicy. Better than last year, which was a bit thin.

A fine beer, but slightly light in alcolhol and body, but not much, for w winter beer. An excellent fruitiness derived from the special yeast and malts.
