Pours a cloudy straw yellow hue with an initial frothy head that fades and produced little lace. The aroma has lots of lemon and clove but minimal banana esters or wheat for that matter, a bit grassy and noble hops come about. The taste does not cut it as a hefeweizen, sure it is better than most American wheats and has a crisp tartness but little else of what I like in the style is present. Yeasty on the finish and some lingering bitterness. The feel is refreshing and crisp, so it is drinkable. Back to some real Bavarian hefes...this is a one try bier.
Bottle: Aroma is all citrus and sour with some cloves. Very, very faint banana. Pours a dull, slightly hazy orangish-yellow with lots of sediment. Very small head that is gone quickly. No lacing whatsoever. Flavor is very malty. Very slight touch of citrus in the beginning. Strong banana and moderate clove finish. While flavor is more weak that most hefes, there is a stronger banana finish and aftertaste than I’ve ever had which contradicts the aroma. Not bad, but the lack of citrus flavor (only slightly noticeable in the front part of the flavor) makes this hefe fall a little short. Oh, and the commercial description for th is beer is ridiculous. This brew poured a small sized head of mostly diminishing fine to medium sized bubbles that left behind very little lacing lacing and a hazy light yellow brown colored body with some yeast visibly floating in it. The aroma was mixture of malt clove banana and dough while the mouthfeel was initially tingly then finished smoothly with just a mild bite. The flavor was unexciting with simple notes of malt dough yeast and mild sweetness. As a final note, I found it be just a little on the odd side for a Weiss.

Hazy unfiltered with good lacing and not much head. Light wheat and alcohol aroma. Flavor has banana and clove esters with a bland wheat background, hops are detectable though. Light gold color, large head, slightly cloudy. A light bodied wheat beer, mild malts and hops. Lot of flavor. A hint of Banana and clove adds to the fruitiness. Mouthfeel is round. This beer lacks character in my opinion. It poured almost no head with very, very fine sized bubbles. The body was clear with carbonation observed and the hue was gold. Citrusy, tangy wheat aroma. Yeast, bit of bubblegum. Small white head and some lacing. Beautiful cloudy pumpkin orange color. Bright. High carb and medium silky, watery body. Very tart, citrusy up front. Hits back of the tongue with an assault. Good wheat/yeast flavor. Sourness detracts. Sour weak after. Overall, has weak flavor, and tartness is a downer.
