The malts in this porter resemble a slightly more burnt version of Guinness Stout. Smooth, very dark and light carbonation Gription79 (2892) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - NOV 10, 2011
12 oz bottleThaJuggernaut (309) - Washington, USA - NOV 5, 2011
Aroma: fruity hops, hint of roasted/chocolate malt
Taste: fruity hops/yeast, slight chocolate
I did not find anything wrong with this beer, but there was not any reason to go back for more.

Pours dark with an almost nonexistent aroma. Initial taste is roasty malt, but it’s fairly subtle. Finish is dry. It’s just too uninteresting for my palate. I would not buy this one again. PapaSkeetSkeet (1010) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - OCT 27, 2011
Smells of pine and dark chocolate, oh yeah! Dark brown with a light-brown head. Medium body with a short-lived carbonation bite. Yowza! Flavor is chocolate, light roast, pine, leaf, a hint of nutmeg spice. Good.

Appearance: Pours a clear dark brown with a small beige head and light spotty lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts, roasted coffee and chocolate
Taste: Toasted malts, roasted coffee, grainy, sweet caramel with a light bitterness in the finish
A nice, easy drinking porter.
A Porter from Portland disguised as a Winter Ale. Too bad it’s only mid-October. Ah hell, it’s my 800th beer rating, Merry Christmas! Nikiel (879) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 17, 2011
Bottle with Carla. Pours deep brown/red with fizzy dark red/brown foam. Smells like sweet corn cereal. Mouth-feel is very thin. Tastes of molasses and allspice with somewhat sour alcohol. cblado (298) - Washington, USA - OCT 16, 2011
22 oz bomber. Pours a deep, dark brown color. Slight tan head. Aroma is very slight, mostly a toasted malt aroma. Flavor is also very subtle, with bitter coffee notes against a background of toasted malt. The thing that really caught my attention right away was the palate. This is really one of the fizziest porters I’ve had. Definitey unexpected. hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - OCT 12, 2011
bottle from superdave on 1/31/11.
rootbeer-ish porter color with some spots of foam left from the tan head.
it smells and tastes of roast, lactose, choco, grass, spice and floral hops.
the flavor has a touch of typical porter sourness on the finish. plain but solid.
it is a touch thin but i’d crush a ton of ’em. 6/3/6/3/14
