(22oz bomber thanks to blackswan) espresso brown with creamy dark tan head. Nose of cocoa, milk chocolate, spices and oats. Taste of raisin, watery, mildly spices, oats, with a dry watery finish. 22415brewery (379) - Washington, USA - SEP 26, 2011
Bottle. Pours a jet-black with minor amber highlights underneath the moderate light beige half-inch head. Aroma is not what I expected based on the appearance; a touch fruity, some green apple esthers, and a barely noticeable medium caramel. This porter is moderately sweet with a fairly thin mouthfeel. The carbonation is relatively high which dries out the finish yet lightens the body. No noticeable roasty or chocolate notes even though the color implies it. Has a slight vegetal, and a noticeable astringency on the finish. Overall I feel that it could use a touch more alcohol, more body, and a little more sweetness to provide more definition. Right now it is more like a fairly strong dark mild with minimal yeast character. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 11, 2011
(22oz bottle) Pours a mahogany body with a small tan head. Aroma of raisins, roasted malt, plum, and cocoa. Flavor of caramel malt, cocoa, some coffee, and roasted grain. BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - MAY 3, 2011
Traded bottle. Pours reminds of a Coke with a brown head that quickly disappears into a film. Pretty straight forward porter aroma of darker malt and a hint of cold coffee; pleasant. Flavor and body are pretty thin. Again darker malt and some bitterness from the coffee notes in the flavor. Simple.

Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Dark reddish color with a brownish head. Aroma is maple syrup, and brown sugar with toasted wood. Flavor is watery upfront, with roasted burnt malts and slight coffee. Hamshank (6) - Washington, USA - MAR 27, 2011 does not count
Flavor is very nice, however, leaves a lot to be desired as it lacks complexity. Tastes of smokey chocolate and coffee. dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 5, 2011
Bottle pours brown with a khaki head. Aroma shows notes of chocolate, coffee, smoke, and light roast. Flavor shows the same. Not too shabby. Not a whole lot of depth but fairly well made.
