KeefOz (1879) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - MAR 8, 2017
BB 03 AUG 2018. Poured a dark brown with a huge (three- to four-finger) tan frothy head that retained extremely well but laced poorly. Carbonation high, lively and medium sized. Aroma strongly of sweet dried fruits and vanilla with molasses, toffee, caramel and hints of roasted notes. Taste of sweet dried fruits with hints of roasted malt and caramel; quite sweet; low bitterness. Medium body. Creamy, smooth, soft with a slightly fizzy mouthfeel and a sweet finish. Nice

Bottle - pours murky brown with a short lived head. Aroma is burnt sugar, roast malt and dried fruit. Taste is sweet with hint of burnt sugar up front, sharp finish, bit of heat from the alcohol. Palate is quite a sharp fizz.

Excellent style of a Belgian Dubbel, great flavours, good aroma and excellent head retention.

on tap at the grain store in newcastle. quite a murky dark brown, hints of purple and a fluffy head; loads of phenols, plenty of brown sugar showing in the aroma, really seems as though that has been substituted for candi sugar; caramelised bananas, some pleasant yeast character but very frothy and with plenty of sweet alcohol showing; could be decent with a bit of fine tuning

TEJA (3141) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 4, 2015
Big lasting brown head. Light cloudy brown color. Huge chocolate aroma with some dark roasted caramell malt. The taste is both caramell and dark chocolate but a low sweetness and bitterness.

Pours murky red/brown, thin lasting off white head, malty aroma with a hint of hops thrown in. Warming flavours with a smooth finish, I like it. A great beer for a cold night.
