Backlog rating on 10-17-2012 - This draft beer has a small beige head that mostly diminishes, transparent body, very little carbonation observed, and a fair amount of lacing adorns my glass. The aroma is citrus, grapefruit, pine hops, and caramel malt. The flavor is is citrus, pine hops, lightly bitter, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is medium-full bodied. This is a beer for hopheads and it has a lingering hoppy aftertaste that is bearable. patrick767 (4474) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Sampled from a growler at Ft Wayne RB tasting - Pours a deep copper color, laces well, and more importantly has a big grapefruit hop aroma with a hint of resin. This beer is obviously about the hops but it also has a solid, full bodied malt backing that lends it some sweetness. The hops contribute big citrus flavors along with some pine. Excellent beer, one of the best brews Mad Anthony’s has ever made. jsquire (4662) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JAN 3, 2013
Sampled out of a growler. Big fresh citrus hop nose with some pine notes. Amber beer with a sticky beige head. This is a big, sticky IIPA with flavors of pineapples, apricot jelly, candied orange peel and that nice hop Jolly Rancher candy sense about it that I really like in a big, hoppy beer. Real sweet hop head beer. thedm (6320) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 25, 2012
This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of foamy with a frothy top finely sized light tan colored bubbles that were and left behind a softly carbonated transparent deep copper brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The medium green hop raw hop aroma was hoppy with a medium citrus note. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of green hops and citrus. Very much like a Ranger IPA with a strong citrus note. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. One of the better brews from Mad Anthony Brewing Company. It goes great with their sausage and pepperoni unwrap, queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - OCT 27, 2012
Tap at Warsaw location. Fresh floral citrus hops and caramel malt aroma. Chestnut with a moderate ivory head, thick creamy lacing. Sweet caramel malt (really-really caramelly), peach, citrusy piney hops flavor. Full sticky body. Well done malt hop balance.
