Tap: at source (Ft. Wayne)
Pours black with a creamy, brown head.
Scent is gourmet coffee....chocolate and cream.
Taste is creamy chocolate and coffee...
Not very strong, but the ultra smooth feel makes up for it.....
Great. thedm (6307) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 4, 2003
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2003 This brew poured a huge brown head of fine bubbles and left an excellent creamy clinging vine lacing as it receded. Its body was black as a stout should be. It has a mild malty aroma to it. Its taste was smooth initially and finishes strongly but still on the mild side and very drinkable JStax (7132) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 20, 2014
Nitro. Near black pour with a creamy, khaki colored head of foam. The aroma has a lot of roasty character. Big notes of roasty coffee and bitter dark chocolate. Velvety mouthfeel. Low carbonation and light body. Overml01 (227) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 26, 2012
Tap at the Fort Wayne location. Sooo creamy... a great mouthfeel! Personally I’d like it to be a touch sweeter, but it IS a dry stout, so I can’t fault it for that. It’s usually the first thing I order when I visit, and I just love the whole experience of drinking it. Feels like drinking a frothy storm cloud. Mmm... storm cloud. edgallow (4377) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 1, 2014

Tap. A decently made stout. On a nitro tap. Opaque color with a brown long lasting head. Rich roasted malt aroma with coffee notes. Body is perhaps thin but not terribly so. Taste is of roasted malt. Hops balance nicely.

After the sweet stout I was not quite sure what the dry stout would bring but this was just fine. The glass contained a brown pour with a tan head and good lacing. Nose of roasted malts and chocolate and some coffee notes. Smooth and rich mouthfeel. Flavors of roasted malts and coffee, and the finish is long and bitter. Good brew.
