Sample at the Ft. Wayne brewpub. Brown-black color with a medium creamy tan head that diminishes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate aroma. Light-bodied with a roasty coffee and malt character with some chocolate and mild hops in the background. The dinish is bittersweet chocolate and malt. Decent overall. Tap at Mad Anthony. A pretty solid Irish Stout. Smooth creamy chocolate, caramel. Bitter balance. Rich cocoa finish, some chocolate syrup, but plenty balanced out by the hops. Well done. Guiness-ish is a lot of ways, but better. Ferris (16499) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 18, 2014
Nitro - Roast malts and bittersweet chocolate. Jet black with a decent brown head. Dark roast with some dark chocolate. A bit thin and plain.

Nitro. Near black pour with a creamy, khaki colored head of foam. The aroma has a lot of roasty character. Big notes of roasty coffee and bitter dark chocolate. Velvety mouthfeel. Low carbonation and light body. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 9, 2013
Taster on tap at the brewpub. Very dark brown red color, clear. Thin light brown head. Bits of sort of loose lace. Good roast malts, coffee in the nose. Hint of dark chocolate. Nice btiterness, little sweet. Lighter body, creamy lighter smooth carbonation. Good light easy-drinking but flavorful dry stout. Lightly dry finish. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - SEP 28, 2012
Tap at Warsaw location. Earthy coffee and chocolate aroma. Near black with a moderate thick creamy tan head, creamy lacing. Ashy acidic espresso flavor with a roasty bitter finish. Rather light for the style. Overml01 (227) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 26, 2012
Tap at the Fort Wayne location. Sooo creamy... a great mouthfeel! Personally I’d like it to be a touch sweeter, but it IS a dry stout, so I can’t fault it for that. It’s usually the first thing I order when I visit, and I just love the whole experience of drinking it. Feels like drinking a frothy storm cloud. Mmm... storm cloud.
