COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American style IPA brewed with a single variety of hop and a simple American grown grain bill allowing the hop to be "front and center. We created this beer using 3 grains, a two row brewers base malt and a small percentage of toasted malt and red wheat malt. The real star of this ale is the new Citra hop which gives off loads of character and will be recognized as heavy citrus, grapefruit. Much of the hop was used late in the boil preserving all the character of the hop without going over the top on bitterness.

Rated on 10-22-2016 at MABC-Fort Wayne, IN. (Draft) When served, the appearance is a small off-white head that is fully lasting, transparent yellow orange body, no carbonation observed, and no lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, fruity and caramel malt. The flavor presents citrus hops, biscuity and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. An easy drinking beer for the style that is a bit grainy. This is a beer that I would drink again.

On tap at the brewery in Auburn. Super good, super delicious. Hoppy balanced with some sweetness. Wonderful brew, must try.

Bottle from Pat’s in Porter IN. Pours a clear orange/bronze with a thin head. The citrus/resin hoppiness is up front; has a good mouth feel. This is a nicely balanced IPA that is flavorful without smacking you in the face (not that there’s anything wrong with that!). A pleasant session beer. Definitely in my rotation.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a semi-transparent light orange brown colored body and a good lacing. The weak aroma was hoppy. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The decent flavor contained notes of hops and malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Tap. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture with soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Good brew.

Draft. Sweet caramel malt and musty citrus hops aroma. Hazy golden yellow with a large off-white head. Sweet biscuity caramel malt, spicy citrus hops flavor. Medium sticky body, moderate carbonation.

5oz on tap at Twenty Tap, thanks to b3shine (stole it out of his pint). Nice piney herbal hop, but bigger caramel and toasty malt too. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter. Golden orange color. Thin ring of white head, loose bits of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Nice biscuity malt. Decent IPA, but not great. Solid malt character, but still... It’s malt forward... Not as much hop here. Not hop-forward like an IPA should be. Kind of grainy.

Draft to pint at Twenty Tap. Looks solid; a transparent orange with foamy eggshell head. Smells of fruity hops with a moderately bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a smooth medium to medium full-bodied mouthfeel. On the maltier side, but well-balanced and enjoyable.

tap - Hmm... lacking any notation on it I will assume I had the first Hopsquatch and not the second. It pours lightly hazy copper with a small, lingering off-white head. There’s a big, piney hop aroma. The flavor is big on the pine and citrus character with good bitterness, a medium to full body, and more bitterness lingering pleasantly in the finish. Very good.
