A medium bodied IPA with an amber color originating from lightly-toasted caramel malt. American-grown hops provide a fruity, citrus-like character. Enjoy the perfect balance between malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness.

Bottle. Lovely IPA aroma. Dark copper with light head. Very drinkable. Not to bitter. Would be able to drink lots. Reminds me of a lighter hoppyum. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Liz. Pours hazy amber with a slight white head. Aroma is floral with a touch of grapefruit rind. Med body. Flavor is a light malt backbone with a lot of floral and a good dose of grapefruit rind which winds into the finish. Nicely bitter finish.

Starts with a nice piney aroma, with a hint of malt. Pours a clear amber, with a small white head. Nice bitter flavor, with caramel notes, as well as pine notes. Moderate bitter finish, and fairly light bodied. This is a solid, easy drinking IPA.

Pours auburn with a thin white head. Smells malt and caramel. Tastes nice...grapefruit and caramel with a little bit of hops. Smooth on the palate. Somewhat sweet and very drinkable. One of the best local brews I?ve had.

Poured from a bottle. Amber copper with a ton of head. Sentiment floated and settled at the bottom eventually. Smells and tastes very earthy. Not too hoppy. Nutty and malty IPA, pretty original. Didnt love it or hate it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a slightly hazy orange with a small off white head. The aroma is citrus hops, perfume, and caramel. The taste is malty at first, followed by some light hoppiness, medium bitterness, and a bit of a weird butterscotch/caramel flavor on the back end. Not a great IPA, but Ive had worse.

12oz bottle from Armanettis. Pours a mostly clear, amber-gold colored body with some particulate floating around. Big, over-carbonated, very foamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a solid lacing. Aroma is big herbal hops with a light citrusy pine resin, a moderate caramel backing with some crystal, and a good amount of orange floral fruits. Flavor is citrus up front with a nice caramel backing before lots of orange florals come in as well as a decent piney, slightly resiny hopping. Some spiciness from the herbal hops comes on towards the end as this finishes dry and balanced with a light sweetness and moderate, piney, somewhat resiny bitterness. Lengthy aftertaste following a light-medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, not a bad IPA. Well hopped with a nice mixture of orange florals, piney citruses, and slightly spicy herbal hops balanced with a nice caramel. Easy drinking and enjoyable.

Date: January 17, 2012 Mode: Bottle Source: Crown Liqour Description: Translucent but slightly cloudy orangish brown pour with minimal head that faded almost immediately. Aroma was citrus, pine and some caramel / malt. Taste was fairly similar to aroma with a mild bitter finish. First brew from Mad Anthony so that was cool, but this one was just okay.
