Bottle from Liz. Pours hazy amber with a creamy near-beige head. Mixed resin/citrus aroma. Near med body. Flavor is quite hoppy - mostly resin. Decent mild roast malt backbone. Finishes quite bitter and hoppy. Nice. Ratman197 (15608) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - FEB 24, 2010
Bottle poured a clear amber with a large lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, light grapefruit and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a watery finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, lighty citrus and a hint of pine with a smooth lightly bitter finish. Tmoney99 (15114) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 12, 2005
Draft at MABC. Clear amber color with medium white head that diminshed slowly. Medium hop and citrus aroma. Light to medium body. Well balanced medium flavor with a small bitter finish. Above average brew. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 17, 2012
Bottle courtesy of queenholly. Thanks! Pours a fairly hazy amber color with a thin tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of woody, earthy hops with caramel malts and a bit of apple. The taste is herbal, woody hops, some citrus, caramel malts and a dry finish. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness. Decent APA.

Courtesy of Kahn's in Indy. This beer is a bright amber color with a thin but lasting eggshell white head. Thin lacing all the way to the bottom. The aroma is really nice citrus and hops. Medium-bodied and easy to drink with a solid hops flavor that is both floral and citrusy. The finish is fairly bitter and lasting. Overall I am rather impressed with what a good APA this turned out to be. hopdog (13191) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 5, 2006
12oz bottle acquired in trade with atpayne (thanks!). This one initially poured all head. Eventually settled down to a medium amber color. Aromas of grapefruit, wet grass, caramel, and a little on the floral side. Tastes of caramel, grapefruit and floral. I expected it to be over carbonated with the way this one was pouring, but it wasn’t. deyholla (12582) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 12, 2009
Bottle. Pours a hazy orangish amber with an off white head. Aroma smells some what like a wet pine forest, a bit musty. Flavor is quite one note with bitter hops, a bit of a wooden flavor as well. shrubber85 (11706) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 30, 2007
Tap at MA. LIght orange hops aroma. Amber with small head. Sweet orange-pineapple flavor with a moderate hops finish. Standard APA but a good brew. hopscotch (11410) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 26, 2006
Bottle... Clear light amber ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. Fruity, earthy hops with black tea, kiwi fruit and light oak in the nose. Perfectly balanced flavor with moderate sweetness and bitterness and a touch of tropical fruit. Medium-bodied with a sawdust mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. Finishes fruity and dry. A big SHOUT goes out to MI2CA for sending the bottle my way!
