Taster on tap at the brewpub. Labeled simply "Porter". Dark brown color. Thin off-white head, decent ropes of lace. Very nice big coffee flavor, hint of dark fruit. Light roast malt, good long coffee aftertaste. Light to medium body. Lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate bitter taste, lighter sweet. Very good porter. Probably my favorite from what I tried during my visit. Patrickctenchi (6832) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 20, 2012

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a hint of red. The thin tan head quickly disappeared. Low marks for appearance due to floating chunks of yeast in the beer. Coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate aromas. The flavors included roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee with an acidic aftertaste. Low carbonation and watery mouthfeel. LtJudge (468) - Muskego, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 1, 2009
