On tap at the Bloomington Beer Festival. Poured a cloudy orangish pink with a white head that laced nicely. Aroma was full of raspberry notes, a combination of both tart and sweet. The flavor was dominated by the raspberries but not overwhelmingly so and there is a bit of a wheat finish. shrubber85 (11402) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 21, 2004
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2007 Bottle. Nice fresh raspberry malt aroma. Ruby red color - cloudy but next to no head. Flavor a disappointment - watery raspberry flavor - little malt flavor and no hops. Pretty blah.
Rerate 5/30/07 - better flavor and body - flavor more tart and full. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 3, 2014
2oz taster on tap, at HopCat Broad Ripple. Mostly hazy ruby red color. Thin ring of off-white head. Great color, but unimpressive head. Decent ropes of lace, though. Lovely bigger raspberry aroma, some wheat, and desert-creme. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Moderate sweet, lightly tart. Nice raspberry wheat ale. Draft pour. Red pour with a pink head of foam. The aroma has a musty raspberry quality. More on the sweet side, but there is a little funk in there as well. Light body, medium carbonation. nuplastikk (6273) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 3, 2014
Tap at Mad Anthony. 90s style artificial raspberry beer. Insipid, but has some nice sweet raspberry tones. Drinkable.
