22oz bottle. Nutty looking Bombay Mahogany color with a light head. Very spicy aroma with clove. Very perfume like. Clove is very noticeable in the flavor and I think there might be a bit much spice as the brew is kind of astringently bitter. Not sure I get any molasses flavor (maybe in a burnt sugar sort of way) but I was thinking more along the lines of ginger and cinnamon. Light sweetness is over powered by the spice and bitterness. Wet mouth feel with bitter finish. Not great, but still drinkable. DrHomolka (761) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 4, 2009
12oz. Pours a dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is nice pumpkin spice, not the same as every other pumpkin beer thankfully. Just a nice pumpkin pie aroma, don’t know how else to explain it. Flavor is pumpkin, caramel, vanilla. Nice. This is one of the better pumpkin beers I’ve had. Gets points for being different. Not just a spicy bland amber ale like 90% of the others. cprochak (590) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 25, 2009
12 oz bottle pours dark amber with bubbly tan head. Aroma dominated by clove with touch of cinnamon and coriander. Decent sweet caramel flavor and touch of bitterness. Leaves a slick buttery squash flavor on the tongue. Decent pumpkin ale. dankman (257) - Somewhere in, Ohio, USA - NOV 10, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2007 Had on nitro at the pub. Lots of pumpkin on the nose, but I really don’t like pumpkin. It is a very pretty beer with a rich creamy head (almost like a orange brown Guiness). Flavor had lots of vegetable tones with the mild bitterness it has. Long pumpkin flavored finish. I think this beer is better than my score reflects because it is everything a pumpkin beer should be; but like I said before, I really don’t like pumpkin. Moggman (235) - Columbus, USA - OCT 10, 2008

This is the most interesting pumpkin beer I have ever tried. Aroma is of spiced pumpkin, caramel, and a touch of barnyard funk. Flavors of pumpkin, cinnamon, and lambic beer. AleDude (41) - USA - SEP 24, 2008
Enjoyed it at Oktoberfest in Berea. Darker than expected but strong pumpkin with spice aroma without overpowering "pumpkin" taste on the tongue. Finishes cleaner than expected without lingering pumpkin aftertaste. I am not a fan of pumpkin beers, but this one is quite good. cmconrad99 (10) - Lorain, Ohio, USA - SEP 8, 2008
Hit the nail this year. Excellent aroma, should be made into a candle... Appearance nice and dark copper, yet cloudy, but expected with spiced ales. Flavor was most excellent, great palate. Initial tasting, atsted great pumpkin and spice start, went to a nice roasted flavor, like the crust of the pie, then finished with a light creamy finish. Best Pumpkin ale by far.
