Draft. Poured a hazy medium-dark copper with a thin, quickly disappearing white head. Great IPA aroma with the citrus really standing out but not overpowering. Big, bright hop flavors but easy to drink. Didn’t get any orange flavors but didn’t affect the enjoyment. Really nice bitter finish on the backside.
Sample from 2017 Virginia Craft Brewers Fest, Charlottesville. Flavor is orange peel and juice, paper, glue. Another meh for me. mike5326 (1782) - virginia beach, Virginia, USA - MAR 11, 2017
Poured from a tap. Medium Amber color, small white head. Citra hops and floral aroma. Medium body with a hops flavor with mild orange zest undertones, sweet finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Aroma and taste were malty with moderate citrus, some other hop notes of fruit and pine. Not intense hops. Might be better by itself rather than as part of a flight. bytemesis (9231) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 19, 2016
Tap pours hazy Amber, large beige head, good lacing. Aroma is caramel, citrus, pain fruit. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Medium body. dlovell2 (2289) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUL 2, 2016
On tap at brewery in Falls Church. Pours copper with an off white head. Fresh citrus aroma with dank pine resin. Flavor is citrus, tropical fruit, with grapefruit zest and pine finish. Been wanting to try this one for a while and it didn’t disappoint.

Sample at Industry Night at HomeBrewCon.
Orange amber color white head. Huge citrus and tropical fruitiness. Pretty tasty beer, but oddly the server wouldn’t allow me to try this beer until I tried his saison first. JDBaker11058 (2351) - Maryland, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Appearance: clear deep orangey copper, with half a finger of creamy light tan head and good lacing. Aroma: bright citrus, heavy on the orange, with definite additional notes of grapefruit, blood orange, and light pineapple, maybe some marmalade. Taste: citrusy for sure, but complemented with pineapple, mango, caramel, toffee, and even a hint of vanilla. Finish: dry but not overly bitter; the hops linger in the flavor but don’t kill the palate . Notes: Best by far of the beers I tried there. Full palate but not overly so. Great drinking. Draught at the brewery.

Draft pint at the Nats ballpark. Darkish copper with a small ring of foam. Nose is orange toffee, pineapple, vanilla, earthy molasses and some resin. Tastes of the same stuff with a dryer finish of resin and citrus zest. Light-medium body is to the sweet side for an IPA. Medium carbonation is nice. jrob21 (3804) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 6, 2014
Sampler at the pub. Smelling this from about a foot away. Good citra aromas. Tropical pineapple flavors. Decent body behind it. Could drink a lot of this. Tonkun (1306) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 27, 2014
Tap. Dark but clear copper pour. Citrus, caramel, herb, hop, slight pine. More pine in the mouth. Big malty body with bitter finish.
