Tap at the brewpub. Dark brown pour with a clingy off white head. Roasty and soy elements, not as smooth as I’d like but not bad. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Cask at CK thx to Alex. Weak head atop dark ruby. Looks black. Nose is volatile detergent. Soy, cherries, black tea. Smoked meat even. Taste is watery, papery. Palate is very thin. Light smoked character. Odd.

Roast and sharp grain – bringing a good grain profile seems to be a trademark skill of these guys. Pours dark hazy brown with good mocha head. A big nut flavor. Finishes bitter, with a hint of caramel sweetness. Tap at brewpub. nimbleprop (8815) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - SEP 3, 2013
