On tap at the brewpub (also had cask). Pitch black pour with extremely creamy head. The beer’s appearance really reminded me of Guinness. Flavor had notes of chocolate, dark malts, and what I can only describe as lactose (probably just the creamy character). Taste was not overpowering and the alcohol content wasn’t front and center so it was really nice. Drake (14059) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 11, 2011

Roast and sharp grain – bringing a good grain profile seems to be a trademark skill of these guys. Pours dark hazy brown with good mocha head. A big nut flavor. Finishes bitter, with a hint of caramel sweetness. Tap at brewpub.
