Bottle from Bottle Baron, Edin. Pours really dark. Amber edges. Lovely greasy looking tan coloured head. Aroma has bags of roasty malts. Iodine. Bovril. Faint Worcester sauce. Earthiness from the coffee. Sultanas. Loads of character! Taste is dense with a molasses sweetness. More earthy vibes. Dried fruit. Beef stock. Bitter with coffee and a woody hoppiness.Thick and delightfully chewy in the mouth. Long, syrupy finish. Low carbonation. Bold indeed!
