MonsterMagnet (1567) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 5, 2016
Bottle from trade with minutemat, many thanks! Pours hazy golden with a white head. Lemon sweets, white wine, orange, bit of wood, somewhat yeasty. Quit sweet with light sour notes. Works quite well!

Bottle at home. Deep orange colour with a white head. Tasty with a nice yeasty chewiness. Medium body. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Ship in a Bottle Liverpool drunk at home. hazy amber colour lasting white head. Big sour aroma. Good sourness in mouth. Some barley wine like malt and flavour. It’s like a bretty barley wine. I rather liked it. Some biscuit. Interesting and tasty if a little over carbonated

Bottle thanks to excellent swap with minutemat. Thanks again Mat! Appearance - initially a gusher but then pours fine so due to bumpy car journey. Anyway golden amber and then initial head falls away quickly. Fine bubbles remain. Belgian obviously! Nose - tangy orange with peach and wood at the back. Chardonnay barrels presumably. Taste - honey caramel but still zesty orange. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - complex and interesting. Could perhaps develop in the bottle to mellow and integrate the oak a bit more.

BlackHaddock (7690) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2016
24th March 2016: Shrewsbury Beer Club (in Chez Sophie). Shared bottle. Cloudy orange pour, the head a white blanket of bubbles. Orange flavours dominated for me, semi-sour, Brett like feel. Highly carbonated. I thought the taste and mouthfeel mellowed when I added the sediment half way through the drink. Struggled to find any white wine influence to be honest.

allmyvinyl (11021) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 15, 2016
Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Gusher! Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aromas of white wine, oak, sherbet, light Brett funk, softly acetic. Taste is light sour, sherbet. Dry finish.

Bottle at home. Pours deep orange, nose is funky, citrus, wood, taste is similar, juicy, chewy toffee.

minutemat (6063) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - FEB 29, 2016
330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy gold with large white head. Aroma is candi sugar and white wine. Taste shines with a good white wine influence, somewhat masking the sweet yeasty Belgian strong ale character. A very enjoyable BA.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Very hazy, dark orange. Foamy, lasting, white head. Aroma of candied peel. Vine fruits. Wine barrel tang. Bit of an Orval yeast thing going on. Smells great. Taste is soft, vine fruit sweet. Tangy and light dry. Super drinkable. A tad too fizzy, maybe. Finishes soft sweet, with a faint, fruity bitterness right on the close. Scary easy drinking at 9%. Lovely.

13th February 2016
Very hazy deep gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and with a fine minerally crispness. Thin malts, some sweetness. Very tangy dried fruits with touches of orange and lemon peel. Nicely rounded off by a oaky vanilla sweetness, Softish finish, Nicely done.
