On tap at The Ship & Mitre Liverpool. Clear gold amber colour lasting white head. some Belgian yeast esters. Some hop and bitterness on the finish. its a dirty earthy English attrmpt at a Belgian ale. Not awful but not a success either. Garrold (5927) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2016
Bottle. Brewdog, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Film of dense, lasting, sticky, white head. Nose is all Belgian yeast, fruity and bready. Lightest hop character. Taste is toffee sweet, initially, then robust, fruity, pithy bitter. Nice mouthfeel. Clean, with foamy carbonation. Long, pithy, slightly earthy bitter finish. Nice enough, but the bitterness is a little jarring.
