Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin creamy head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big spice notes, wheat, mild citrus. The taste is tropical fruits, wheat, citrus, spicy finish. Medium bodied. Solid beer. cwinter56 (6) - here, Virginia, USA - JAN 2, 2013 does not count
Perfect definition of what a wit should be. This is my favorite beer at this place. The color is a little hazy but they don’t do any filtering. They nailed the aroma and taste by well balancing the coriander and orange. Frequently breweries get carried away and over power wits with orange but they did a great job with theirs. If you want a refreshing drink.... this is it. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - DEC 30, 2012
Serving: Draft at the brewpub. It pours a hazy orange color with a slight white head. Light nose with slight yeast notes and a touch of coriander. The yeast and coriander notes get much more expressive in the flavor. Pretty straight forward Wit. A little undercarbonated and full bodied for the style, but not bad.
