Serving: Draft at the brewery. It pours a nice amber color with a large light tan head. The nose is slightly fruity with slight butter notes. The flavor is very fruity, bitter, and full of diacetyl. Oily and heavy on the tongue. This is one messed up Marzen. No crispness and clearly has brewing flaws. The staff said this one fermented too warm yet they decided to serve it anyway. Wish they hadn’t. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 4, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. Apparently fermented at the wrong temperature, and it shows. Pours a hazy amber color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel, butterscotch and spicy hops. The taste is huge butterscotch with earthy hops. Medium bodied. A mess.
