Draft. Very roasty, nice sweet brown sugar or caramel, medium body (awesome), long dry finish. Very good. Sarlacc83 (2287) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 26, 2015
Growler from RBSG. Thanks!
A: Mahogany black body, cappuccino head.
N: Bourbon, cocoa, vanilla, coffee, some char.
T: Sweet and lightly bitter.
M: Medium body, light carbonation, some alcohol.
O: A really nice change of pace. I’m a fan of foreign stouts, and I think this one works very well. The bourbon integrates without overpowering - a fact I try to applaud. Worthy stuff, IMO. hayduke (5187) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 25, 2015
From a growler I took to the RBSG grand tasting. Pours black with a tna head. Nose starts with bourbon and brings chocolate and vanilla. Full bodied. Flavor is chocolate, coffee, bourbon. Finishes bitter. Very nice. r mcberko (17178) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 22, 2015
Growler, pours black with a reddish tinge and no head. Aroma brings out notes of bourbon, vanilla and dry grainy notes that dry it out. Flavour is dry and hot, with smoky notes that dominate. Woody and smoky. Low complexity but clean and sipable. Decent. douglas88 (9049) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 20, 2015
Growler. Pours a pitch black color with a small white head. A light cocoa nose. The flavor is big sweet coffee, cocoa, milky. Smooth.

Pours black with a foamy, brown head. Nose is sweet Mexican chocolate. Taste is sweet. Thinner than I expected. Surprisingly light for 8%. Quite nice.
