355ml bottle into shaker. Sweet malt nose, cloudy red/orange beer with high carbonation and a creamy white head. Medium body, slight fruit taste. Finish is interesting. Starts astringent, becomes more floral and fruity. Eventually ends up dry with distinct tea overtones. Quite nice and light. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 2, 2016
Bottle:   Interesting modeartely hopped spicy beer.   Sweet and tart rose hips is what it reminds me of.   Amberish with a rose hue.   Small to moderate frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Interesting floral aspect.   Very interesting beer, and more enjoyable than I thought.   I expected it to be spicy, but it was a nice sweet, tart, and dry sorta of hibiscus flavor.   Worth a try! Pours a finger of head on a dark straw body.
The aroma is floral and grainy. Nice.
The taste tends to sweet and sweeter. Grain and lemon.
The texture is medium.
It’s okay. blipp (9282) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 3, 2015
Bottle. Pours orange amber with an off white head. Mildly sweet base, with light botanical floral notes, mild fruity notes, mild bitterness, and a quick flowery finish. Pretty good. Travlr (24875) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 24, 2015

Red pour and a pleasantly sour-sweet aroma with hibiscus. The flavor leans toward sweetness to start, followed by lemonade tartness and some drying APA-type hops in the finish. A very nice brew with no off notes, and every bit as good as some pricier hibiscus ales I have tried. geologyguy (1604) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - FEB 1, 2015
Unique light smell like ginger, taste is same, very unique! Tastes like a gluten free beer...sort of refreshing.. Slight spice hayduke (5209) - Eureka, California, USA - DEC 14, 2014
A pint pour at the Mad River Taproom in Blue Lake, CA. Now that they serve very good food the should probably called a Brewpub. Great place. . But on to the beer. Came in the glass red in color with a white head with pink tinges . Light lacing .Nose is caramel malts and a blast o hibiscus. Some stone fruit. Light to medium in body. Lively in the mouth. Very flavorful with all sort of things going on...floral hops, some citrus, a bit of spiciness, and again the fruit. Finish is tart and dry. Very interesting and a good hibiscus infused beer.
