12-oz bottle. Ap - A hazy deep orange that looks like honey. Three-finger pillowy head with good retention and lacing. Noticed a lot of unexpected unfiltered sediment in the last pour. I am guessing it is bottle conditioned. Ar - smells like a orange juice. Malty aroma balances the citrus hops. A touch of yeast is present as well. T - Very smooth. Its a honey biscuit with a grapefruit juice chaser. The three flavors are very well balanced for the style. I don’t think I have had an IPA with this high of a yeast profile. But it is pleasant and not overdone. A long finish give you your money’s worth with every sip. P - Mouthfeel is what it should be for the style. Creamy and a touch sticky. Medium to full bodied and almost creamy. O - Balance gives this beer high drinkability. My second Mad River brew. So far I am impressed.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Dark amber pour, small creamy head, lots of lacing. Aroma is nice rich blend of hops and malts, while taste features a much richer malt base. Caramel and toffee, nice hop bite at the finish. Much better than expected.

Hazy orange with a thin white head. Citrus aroma. Both citrus and pine flavors. Definitely qualifies as a dank beer. Well done though unremarkable DIPA.

Bottle, can’t see a date. Amber with an off white head that’s soon a coat but laces OK. Aroma of kumquats, grapes, toast, some overripe tropical fruit. 6+ Sweet with caramel, peach, tropical fruit, citrus. Not very vibrant but pleasant enough. Resin and bitterness creep up. Another Mad River beer where it feels like they’ve chosen to make a harmonious beer rather than try to be on the bleeding edge. Fair enough.

Bottle from Bridgend Service Station. Murky amber body with a thin white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of rye, pine and honey. Flavour of caramel, fig and dried leaves. Medium body with a powdery texture. Soft fizz. Quite sweet and heavy going. Tastes like a Barley Wine.

12 oz bottle poured at a restaurant in Humboldt County. Pours a thick copper orange with a rocky foam head. Rich caramel and soft pine hops aroma with a matching flavor. Good malt bill. Creamy. Medium bitterness. Has a memorable sweetness to it. Not really July typenif double here. Doesn’t drink very easy, but has good things going for it. Not bad.

Bright orange draft pour at 99 bottles of beer on the wall, in Santa Cruz. Orange and tangerine, ripe fruit and tropical. Good. And little dank fruit.
