COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The original Extra Pale Ale, this is the one that started it all. Our first brew was introduced in 1989 in Golden Gate style kegs. We have stayed true to our beginnings and still brew it the way we did back then. A bright golden hued ale with a medium body and a crisp spicy /floral hop character and very mild bitterness. This unfiltered ale has a pleasing mouth feel and remains our most popular brew. This beer goes with everything and every occasion.

Thin head on a hazy, medium straw colored body. Lots of bubbles coming up. The aroma is rich malt with the slightest citrus. Mild bitter start, medium malt sweetness in the middle, and a long dry bitter finish. Great balance and depth. Smooth texture, moderate carbonation and medium body. A better than average pale ale.

bottle from Crafty Bottle Lincoln. Golden colour with a white head. Weird slickly fruit aroma and taste. Not really my bag, but not offensive

Light haze in a golden orange color with a healthy head of soapy white foam. Vibrant floral and moderate spicy hop flavors and aromas. Very mild fruity hop finish. There is no aggressive, dry pine forest finish or juicy citrus. This is a pale ale that capitalizes on the more delicate side of the spectrum of floral and herbal hops shining through.

Draft at Kahootz. Overall, kind of bland, but the mouthfeel is amazing. Super creamy. Very lightly hopped, mostly grainy. Light golden with small head that fades.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy yellow gold color. Creamy beige head.nspicy grapefruit peel malt nose. Pleasant dryish citrus malt flavor is quite flavorful with a complex hop character. Nice dry finish.

(Mad River Steelhead Extra Pale Ale) Bottle 355ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 5.6% Deep orange colour on the body, clear, small and a bit thin white head on top, average retention. Not much of an aroma, some caramel malts and fruity hints. Taste has also caramel malts, faint tropical fruits, faint peach. Medium body, soft carbonation. Okay.

Pale ale maltosa ligeramente afrutada que no aporta gran cosa. SIN FECHA de consumo ni lote, por lo que no se si será este el problema.

Light honey yellow, cloudy. Honey malts, floral & perfumy hop, starch. Medium body. Dry malty taste. Floral hop along. More hop would benefit it.

Can via 5000. Pours a drab and unclear golden/amber. Far from the bright they describe. Decent head. Very mild bitterness is an understatement as well....as hops are barely present. This must be magic freshly tapped. Overall a bit boring.

355ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mild, husky, malt-spicy aroma, a floral touch. Taste is husky, malt-spicy, slightly bitter hoppy overtones with a floral touch. Simple, unspectacular.
