From a 355ml bottle on 19/10/2016. Pours close to black with a small head. The nose is roasty and nutt, with a bit of vanilla.. The flavour features dark chocolate with hints of caramel, coffee and vanilla, along with some mild vinous notes. The bitterness is quite sharp with some burnt character to it.
