COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jam 72 is a sneaky West Coast IPA you keep smelling and sipping until you get drunk.

We aimed for spicy/grapefruit tones to be dominant with little maltiness. Its not an ideal choice if you want your tongue numb from bitterness though.

Pours hazy and dark coppery color, topped with medium sized, slowly settling off-white head. Fruity nose with some chewing gum present, quite noticeable biscuity malty back. Medium bitterness with some caramel biscuits adding sweetness, as well as some peaches. Pretty noticeable malty character, a bit held back bitterness and medium body. Very nicely hidden alcohol. Very fine one.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, dark golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of orange, mandarine, lemon tea, caramel malty background, minimally strawy undertones - hop aroma is somehow bound, integrated, straw-ensnared, too heavy to surmount the glass. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty, citrusy hoppy, the hoppy notes of lemon tea are again a bit clumsy, neither really crisp nor kicking; oily texture, soft palate. Reminds of some Polish IPAs.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2018 [email protected] Craft Beer Pub, Budapest. Ambrata, media torbidezza, schiuma poco persistente.

Tap at Neked Csak Dezso, Budapest. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, tropical citrus, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, super light bitter with a smooth, rich, light grapefruit, light dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. No idea where the alcohol was but it was seriously in the background.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko, thanks. Clear golden coloured, medium sized craemy off-white head, slightly dusy citrusy nose. Toasted malt, caramel, fruity hoppy, notes of citrus and touch of honey with some alcohol in the finish.

From tap at Léhűtő, Budapest. Aroma is fruity hops with sweetish malt, tropical fruits, pine resin, grapefruit, soft caramel, and orange. Flavour is on the sweet side and above medium bitter. Body is medium. Rather sweet IPA, but nicely hoppy and resinous with a formidable malt backbone. Tasty.

33cl bottle. Appearance: An amber body, allmost clear. With a foamy head witha good retention. Aroma: A lot of citrus hops, grapefruit, marmelade tones. and some biscuit tones. Taste: grapefruit, marmelade and quite some biscuit malts and hints of toffee.Finish is dry and a light hoppy bitterness. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit too much biscuit tones for my taste.

inbirraveritas (1627) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 20, 2017
Bottled, 330 ml. Unclear amber colour, medium sized creamy off-white head, which leaves some lace. Ripe fruity nose and aroma with caramel and bread underpainted by mild resin and flowers, mouthfeel is slick. Lingering, sweetbitter, gently warming finish escorted by mild resiny and earthy hops. Refined, nice.
